Project Description

The Whitney Biennial is one of American art's most significant recurring exhibitions. Designing Werner Herzog's installation meant working with decades of archival film materials, correspondence, and objects to create a spatial experience that honored the filmmaker's visual language.

The project involved close collaboration with Herzog's studio to develop print materials, physical design, and exhibition documentation that could carry the weight and intimacy of the archival content.
