Our journey with MAST began with an immersive site visit that set the tone for an exploratory photo shoot. Inspired by the rhythms of Tucson, we assembled a cast of local residents and friends of the design team, true desert characters whose presence brought an authentic, time-honed aura to the project. The art direction was meticulously crafted to evoke the patina of life in Tucson, employing simple yet effective set styling and carefully selected backdrops that resonated with the natural environment. In an impromptu weekend collaboration, every element from improvised lighting to spontaneous composition came together to form a visual narrative that is as genuine as it is evocative, truly celebrating the raw and enduring character of MAST.
