In collaboration with conceptual artist Anicka Yi, we designed the visual identity and website for Metaspore, a forward-thinking research initiative that seeks to cultivate "spores" of social trust and intellectual exploration. Drawing on Yi’s fascination with transformation, hybridity, and organic forms, the identity employs fluid, biomorphic shapes that reflect the conceptual framework of Metaspore—a project rooted in shaping the cultural and scientific paradigms of the 21st century.
As Yi’s practice navigates the intersections between biology, technology, and art, Metaspore gathers vanguard thinkers from a spectrum of disciplines to collectively engage with the crises and breakthroughs of our time. The design echoes the organic, self-perpetuating systems Metaspore aims to activate, blending a sense of connectivity and constant evolution. The resulting identity serves as both a visual and conceptual extension of Yi's wider explorations into the complex and often unseen networks that shape contemporary life.
